Gmail connects to Multi Mail with an app password, never your Google password.

For gmail.com and googlemail.com addresses - not Google Workspace or your own domain at Google.

Before you add it

    Turn on 2-Step Verification in your Google Account.

    Google offers app passwords only with it on. Skip this if yours is on.

    Make an app password named Lumman.

    Google shows it once - leave that page open until Lumman asks for it.

    Add to ClaudeOpens claude.ai - press Connect there.

    Sign in, add your Gmail and approve Claude in the window Claude opens - paste the app password when it asks

    Ask Claude about your mail

Limits

  • Multi Mail reaches no filters, vacation responder or signature at Gmail, and deletes no draft.
  • Changing your Google password ends every app password. Make a new one and reconnect.
