iCloud

iCloud mailboxes connect to Multi Mail with an app-specific password, never your Apple Account password.

    In the window Claude opens, choose iCloud, type your iCloud address and press Continue.

    Sign in at account.apple.com.

  3. 3

    In Sign-In and Security, select App-Specific Passwords.

  4. 4

    Select Generate an app-specific password and follow the steps.

  5. 5

    Paste the app-specific password, press Connect iCloud mailbox, then Approve.

Limits

  • Only Apple's own addresses connect - icloud.com, me.com and mac.com. An iCloud+ custom domain does not.
  • Multi Mail reaches no filters, vacation responder or signature at iCloud, and deletes no draft.
  • Disconnecting deletes our copy of the password, which works until you delete it at account.apple.com under App-Specific Passwords.
