# Fastmail

Fastmail mailboxes connect to Multi Mail with an app password made in Fastmail's settings.

## Connecting it

1. In the window Claude opens, choose Fastmail, type your Fastmail address and press Continue.
2. Sign in at app.fastmail.com and go to Settings, then Privacy & Security.
3. In Connected apps & API tokens, click Manage app passwords and access.
4. Click New app password, keep Mail, Contacts & Calendars, and click Generate password.
5. Paste the app password, press Connect Fastmail mailbox, then Approve.

## Limits

- Only fastmail.com and fastmail.fm addresses connect. Your own domain at Fastmail does not.
- App passwords need a Fastmail plan that includes them - Basic does not.
- Multi Mail reaches no filters, vacation responder or signature at Fastmail, and deletes no draft.
- Disconnecting deletes our copy of the password, which works until you delete it in Fastmail's settings under Privacy & Security.
